Lead & Assistant Instructor | Modern Day Sniper

Aaron Martin is an instructor and cadre member at Modern Day Sniper, where he brings deep expertise in precision riflecraft, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to integrity and excellence. With a background spanning Marine Corps Scout-Snipers, Reconnaissance, and Army service, Aaron’s career is built on a foundation of operational experience and a relentless pursuit of mastering the craft.

Throughout his military career, Aaron completed multiple deployments and later transitioned into the precision rifle training world, instructing both hunters and military personnel at FTW Ranch in Barksdale, Texas. Since 2018, he has actively competed in the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Great Lakes Region, earning Top Mil/LEO finishes, and currently competes in the NRL Hunter Series as a member of Team Ruger.

Beyond competition and instruction, Aaron consults in the firearms industry, applying his engineering background to product development and performance optimization. When he’s not on the range or working with students, he resides in Southern Indiana, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his farm alongside his wife and daughter.

At Modern Day Sniper, Aaron’s approach to training is rooted in precision, practicality, and mentorship, ensuring that students—from law enforcement and military professionals to competitive shooters—develop the skills, mindset, and adaptability needed to excel.
