Landen Jones

Landen started his shooting journey at a young age. Landen spent his childhood refining his
marksmanship skills through air rifles and .22’s. This led Landen to push the limits of accuracy
and precision with his .22LR at distance and eventually the same with his .308WIN.
Landen joined the US Army Infantry out of high school with the goal of serving in a sniper role.
One year later, after taking multiple skills courses, Landen was assigned to a Sniper Section.
After graduating from the US Army Sniper School at Ft. Benning (Ft. Moore) he was quickly
promoted and assigned as a Sniper Section Team Leader. Landen later completed a combat
deployment (2009-2010) with his unit to Afghanistan as a Sniper Section Team Leader. Landen
separated from the US Army in 2011 after 5 years of service and was responsible for the
training and certification of multiple snipers prior to his separation.
Landen then returned home and attended Eastern Washington University for Criminal Justice.
While pursuing his degree, Landen met his wife and was hired as a Deputy at a Sheriff’s Office
in Washington State.
